This Valentine’s Day Go Green

Valentine’s Day.  Love is in the air. And it’s everywhere. Valentine’s Day is barely complete without chocolates, roses and diamonds. Stores are trying to attract customers with lucrative bargains. Valentine’s Day specials, recipes, shopping tips are abound. Amid this frenzy of Valentine’s Day shopping, we seem to forget the very meaning of this special day. It is the day of love. Every kiss does not begin with a diamond. Even the red roses and chocolates in heart shaped boxes are so passé. Wouldn’t you really want something different this Valentine’s Day, something less superficial and more genuine? I would want my Valentine’s to wake me up with a breakfast in bed. We would take a stroll on the beach or go see the new star studded movie...
