Do Organic Skin Care Products Deliver Results?

DDo Organic Skin Care Products Deliver Results?

What are our reasons to buy organic skin care products? Are we getting better results? Or are we getting better results using mainstream chemical based products?

I hear from our customers over and over again the reasons that they choose natural skin care products and many people are looking to simply avoid parabens and chemical ingredients which effects your healt and skin in the long run..  Other customers choose only products that are cruelty free or vegan. While some are aware how truly natural products are generally more eco friendly.

We all have resons to choose organic skin care products but let’s take a closer look at whether organic products can deliver results and improvements in the way your skin looks and feels. In order to do that we must know:

What is the reason for adding all of the chemicals to non organic skincare products?

First, what is the reason for adding all of the chemicals to skincare products?
Amongst the many reasons are that chemicals are often less expensive that naturally derived products and they do not have natural seasonal variation so are easier and more predictable to work with and work to preserve the products.

Working with a 100% naturally derived products is generally more expensive and highly experienced chemists are required to work with variation in natural products.  For example, one shipment of rosehip oil may be more runny or lighter in color than another batch.  It is also more challenging to make the product last over two years from packaging and greater care is needed in shipping, storing and handling.

So we could say that the chemicals found in skincare products are not always there for the benefit of the consumer.

What does that mean for you and results? It is possible to get almost all of the beneficial ingredients, the “actives” in safe, natural forms and skip on the nasties – those that do not offer any benefit to the skin.  The celebrated botanically derived skin savers include hyaluronic acid, squalane and certain forms of Vitamin C. These ingredients as well as widely acclaimed extracts including aloe vera, eyebright and honeysuckle, are found throughout the Sanctum range.
